Our Community

The attorneys at Ostroff Injury Law are proud to actively support organizations and individuals who dedicate their time to their community and to those in need. The firm’s founder, Jon Ostroff, is highly active in the community and throughout the state of Pennsylvania. From founding his own non-profit to mentoring young lawyers and law students, Jon truly values helping the community. It is important to the firm that we support those who may not have been given the same opportunities as those who have been more fortunate.

Sam’s Place Fundraiser Bike Ride was created after Samuel Ozer lost his life on Father’s Day after being struck by a car while biking on his way home. Sam was a kind and generous member of our community. He believed in promoting a healthy lifestyle and supporting those in need. We are honored to be sponsors and organizers of the Sam’s Place Fundraiser Bike Ride in memory of him. Proceeds from this event will go to students from AIM Academy and across the community, helping them learn skills required for bike repair and new cycling technology. To learn more about joining us on May 7th, visit our event page.

We were thrilled to host our Nurturing the Youth Holiday Drive. We are so inspired by the work Valley Youth House is doing in our community. That is why we wanted to do something to give back to them and the individuals they serve through a holiday gift drive. We collected gift donations at our Blue Bell office, but we also set up an online donation option for those unable to stop by. To learn more about the success of this holiday gift drive or to donate to the organization itself, visit our event page!

Laurel House Donation Drive

Ostroff Injury Law hosted a company donation drive throughout the month of September to support our local women’s shelter, Laurel House. The shelter is a comprehensive domestic violence agency that offers a 24-hour hotline, a textline, transitional housing, a children’s program, individual and group counseling, medical advocacy, legal representation and advocacy, crisis response, law enforcement collaboration, as well as community education and prevention efforts. Our employees donated items and made cash donations throughout the month, which were delivered to the shelter. Love to Langa

Jon and his wife, Amy’s, proudest philanthropic legacy is Love to Langa! This is a non-profit that the two formed in 2009. This idea for the organization began when they visited the townships surrounding Cape Town, South Africa, where Jon and Amy realized that they had the ability to make a huge difference in the lives of the children there. The charity aims to support and educate the children from the townships that they visited. Not only has the non-profit built a brand new school, which was just finished this year, but it has helped children learn how to swim, funded teacher training programs, and so much more.
