A strongly recognized philosophy within our team at Ostroff Godshall Injury and Accident Lawyers is the belief in uplifting those in need simply because it is the right thing to do. It can be easy to overlook the immense struggles other people face as we navigate our own personal issues but even the smallest actions can make a difference. We strive to focus our desire to help whoever needs it, especially children. At the minimum, a child deserves to be nurtured, feel loved, and be comfortable enough in their environment to happily thrive. It is unfortunate that some children cannot experience this stability as they lack basic necessities like shelter, education, or even food. Jon Ostroff and his wife Amy saw an opportunity to not only help impoverished communities in other countries but also the children who live there. This eventually led to the creation of the Love to Langa charity.
The Love to Langa charity was founded in 2009 with the goal of supporting and educating children who live in impoverished townships surrounding Cape Town, South Africa. One of the core projects of this charity is building schools for the children in these areas. Additional projects have been completed over the years such as the establishment of swimming academies, teacher training programs, and the construction of fresh gardens at local orphanages. This is an impactful and worthy charity that our firm is proud to support. With your help, we hope to raise enough money to help fund this organization’s next big project, the Idayimani Montessori Academy. This new school will allow hundreds of children to receive a quality education while also bringing valuable programs to the community.
