2022 Norristown School District Backpack Drive

Here at Ostroff Godshall Injury and Accident Lawyers, we believe that all students have the right to a quality and rewarding education. A good education sets children up for success in the future and develops the critical thinking skills necessary for life. Unfortunately, some students cannot perform to their fullest ability as they lack the proper school supplies needed to participate in the classroom. A child’s main focus while at school should be on learning and growing, not worrying about how they will pay for basic materials. To help remove this burden from these children and their families, we held a backpack drive for the Norristown school district. We wanted to ensure that every student has an equal opportunity to excel when at school, no matter their personal or financial situation.

This is an important cause to our firm which is why we wanted to do all that we could to help. Our 2022 Norristown School District Backpack Drive was a fundraising event with the goal of providing supplies and backpacks for students in Elementary through High School. Through our partnership with the Norristown Area School District Family Support Center, we strived to raise enough money to make a substantial difference. All proceeds were used solely for necessary supplies for the district to distribute to students.

The fundraising window ended on July 15th as we now begin finalizing the distribution logistics. The summer break will soon end as quickly as it began. It is important that the students in the Norristown district begin the Fall semester motivated and equipped with everything they need.
