When winning is the only option

The Car That Drives Itself

Google has been testing a new car that drives its self.  According to the company, the self driving car has about 160,000 test miles under its belt without incident.  Until recently, the car had never been involved in a crash. However, when the self driving car was being manually driven by a person then, the car was involved in a five car accident.

As an accidental death lawyer, I am always interested in the newest technologies and ideas that may help prevent future accidents.  Google’s car of the future may be an important development, but it is also important to remember that human error causes many accidents and will still be a safety factor in the future.
