Meet Our Scholarship Winners!

Congratulations to Julia Ronney on winning our 2025 Done with Distracted Driving Scholarship!

My name is Julia Ronney and I am a first year law student at the University of Tennessee. I graduated from University of Montana in 2021 with a degree in Biology and pursued professional tennis for three years while I determined what would come next for my career path. I am extremely passionate about helping others and fighting for justice, which is why I am pursuing a career in law.

I am endlessly grateful to be the recipient of the 2025 Done with Distracted Driving Scholarship from the Ostroff Godshall Injury and Accident Law Firm. It was an honor to help raise awareness for such an important cause through this scholarship. This generous award will help make it possible for me to focus on law school while taking some of the financial burden off my mind. I will not forget this feeling of gratitude towards Ostroff Godshall as I move into my professional career in the future, and I hope I can one day set up a scholarship like this firm did to help students in my current position.

Congratulations to Keegan Heaney Fredrick on winning our 2023 Done with Distracted Driving Scholarship!

I am Keegan Heaney Fredrick, a first-year University of Kansas law student. I was born in California and raised in historic Fredericksburg, Virginia. I attended the Commonwealth Governor’s high school program and recently graduated from the University of Mary Washington. While majoring in political science, I participated in the university’s Honors Program. During my undergraduate experience, I interned with the Law Library of Congress, a presidential campaign, a voting advocacy organization, and the Department of Transportation. Through my internships with the Department of Transportation, I researched means to enhance equity and accessibility in transportation, specifically for people with differing abilities and other minority groups.

I am honored to be the recipient of the 2023 Done with Distracted Driving Scholarship. As the granddaughter of Scottish immigrants and a first-generation law student, the Ostroff Godshall Injury and Accident Lawyers scholarship will support my goal of enhancing equity and accessibility through my legal studies and endeavors. I am incredibly grateful to have been awarded this unique scholarship.
