Drowsy Drivers More Common Than You Might Think
The latest statistics about drowsy drivers have recently been released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). According to the CDC, 1 in 24 drivers admits to falling asleep while behind the wheel of a motor vehicle. The CDC thinks that the number may be even higher since many people may not notice when they fall asleep for a few seconds behind the wheel.
Are You Safe With About 4% of Drivers Falling Asleep at the Wheel?
Maybe not. A tired driver may be as dangerous as a distracted or drunk driver and may cause you significant harm in a car crash.
