Attorney David B. Kline Receives Avvo Client Choice Award

Ostroff Godshall Injury and Accident Lawyers would like to congratulate attorney David Kline on his recent Avvo Client Choice Award. This award is reserved for those attorneys who receive the highest ratings from their clients. Dave’s award is based on more than 70 five star client reviews.

avvo-client-choice-awardThe Avvo reviews praise Dave for his thoroughness, his attentiveness, his quick response time, and his dedication to his clients. They also mention that he gets results, even when other attorneys are willing to give up. Here is a recent example.

A client contacted our firm because her own attorney and her insurance company were pressuring her to accept a $10,000 settlement offer.  Her own attorney would not take the case to court cause he thought the offer was fair.  However, Dave knew it was not enough to cover all of her damages. Dave took the case, researched the alleged settlement, undid it, and asked the insurance company to pay a fair sum. When the insurance company saw that Dave was serious and took them to court, they eventually increased the settlement offer to $35,000.

Dave is not just a lawyer, but also a lecturer and legal writer.  He has received six awards for his teaching prowess. He is the author of eleven published legal articles and two treatises on the law. One of which was the national “Emotional Injuries: Law and Practice.”  The judicial opinion Sears v. Hershey Medical Center, 10 Pa. D. & C. 4th 182 (Dauphin Co. 1991) cited his legal work.  Judge Dowling, deceased, once called Dave, in writing, the “foremost authority in Pennsylvania on emotional distress law.”  Judge Craig Lord, ret. also praised Dave for his work in this field.

Avvo has also given Dave a 10 out of 10 rating of “Superb” based on client reviews, 12 attorney endorsements and his professional record.
Finally, on Oct. 17, 2015, Dave gave back to the community. He counseled people at station #6 of the semi-annual Expungement Clinic, held at CCP and sponsored by Community Legal Services of Philadelphia.  For three hours, Dave educated several members of the local community on the steps they needed to take to expunge or attempt to expunge their criminal conviction history. This would help them get jobs and housing.  Case manager Rachael Gutierrez gave three hours of her time on a weekend to help with this noble cause.
