Scholarship Winners

Meet Our Scholarship Winners!

Congratulations to Keegan Heaney Fredrick on winning our 2023 Done with Distracted Driving Scholarship!

I am Keegan Heaney Fredrick, a first-year University of Kansas law student. I was born in California and raised in historic Fredericksburg, Virginia. I attended the Commonwealth Governor’s high school program and recently graduated from the University of Mary Washington. While majoring in political science, I participated in the university’s Honors Program. During my undergraduate experience, I interned with the Law Library of Congress, a presidential campaign, a voting advocacy organization, and the Department of Transportation. Through my internships with the Department of Transportation, I researched means to enhance equity and accessibility in transportation, specifically for people with differing abilities and other minority groups.

I am honored to be the recipient of the 2023 Done with Distracted Driving Scholarship. As the granddaughter of Scottish immigrants and a first-generation law student, the Ostroff Godshall Injury and Accident Lawyers scholarship will support my goal of enhancing equity and accessibility through my legal studies and endeavors. I am incredibly grateful to have been awarded this unique scholarship.

Congratulations to Christopher Linfante on winning our 2022 Done with Distracted Driving Scholarship!

I am Christopher Linfante, a 22-year-old first-year law student at Notre Dame Law School. I was born and raised in New Jersey but spent the past four years in Baltimore, Maryland as a student at Loyola University Maryland where I majored in history. I am excited to pursue a career in law where I hope to make a positive impact on the world through my profession.

I am honored to be selected as the 2022 Done with Distracted Driving Scholarship winner. Ostroff Godshall Injury and Accident Lawyers’s generosity will help me fund my legal education, and I cannot begin to express how thankful I am. Although distracted driving continues to be a major problem in the United States, campaigns like the Done with Distracted Driving Scholarship are great ways to bring awareness to the problem and search for solutions. I am grateful to have participated in and been selected as the winner of this scholarship.
