Christine Clarke is a partner in the firm and the head of the medical malpractice division. Christine has dedicated her career to representing people hurt due to negligent medical care, car accidents, slip-and-falls, and general negligence. Her track record of verdicts and settlements speaks to her commitment to clients and her determination to get them justice.
In December 2013, Christine won a $42.9 million verdict in a medical malpractice case for a baby who was badly injured from premature birth. After a four-week trial, the jury returned a verdict that – to this day – is among the largest medical malpractice verdicts in Pennsylvania history.
In May 2019, Christine was co-counsel in a defective medical device case that resulted in an unprecedented jury verdict of $80 million. The verdict, won after a hard-fought six-week trial, included $30 million in compensatory and $50 million in punitive damages— the largest compensatory award in the nation to date in a vaginal mesh case.
Christine has carried these experiences, and the knowledge she gained through battling the country’s largest companies and hospital systems, forward into her work on every type of case.
In April 2019, Christine and firm-owner and managing partner, Richard Godshall, represented a woman who suffered a life-altering leg fracture in a fall at a Delaware County apartment complex. The case, Mulero v. Revere Crossing Apartments, was strongly defended as a “no liability” case, but the Delaware County jury disagreed. They awarded $900,000 in non-economic damages.
By settlement, Christine has obtained more than $10 million for her clients who have been hurt through no fault of their own, including dog-bites, car and truck accidents, and defective premises cases. It is one of her core beliefs that all clients (even those with the “small” cases) deserve to have an excellent attorney on their side. Christine proudly represents clients with limited-tort car insurance, clients who live by any of our 8 local offices and across the Commonwealth, and clients with cases that others have deemed too difficult to win.
Christine lives in Bucks County with her husband and two children. Outside the office, she enjoys running with her dogs, traveling, and discovering new vegan restaurants.
