Rich Godshall, Owner of Ostroff | Godshall – Injury and Accident Lawyers
It is with great pleasure that we announce the transition and rebranding of Ostroff Injury Law to Ostroff | Godshall – Injury and Accident Lawyers.
In a mutual decision with Founding Partner Jon Ostroff, Rich Godshall has officially taken over the firm effective January 1, 2023. Rich has been a valued member of the Firm for many years, overseeing its operations as Managing Partner and leading the litigation department since 2019. During this time, the Firm’s case inventory has grown in number of cases and overall value, making the current transition and rebranding an obvious step forward for the Firm.
Rich started his legal career about 20 years ago doing defense work for larger companies and insurance carriers. He was named as the youngest partner in a 100-lawyer-plus regional defense firm but quickly realized that he was better suited working for those that were injured, not against them. Being the son of an injured union carpenter, Rich learned firsthand the importance of the work he and his Firm do, protecting those injured by the fault of someone else.
Rich states: “The legal system is not set up to protect everyday working-class people that are injured. When someone’s livelihood or the stability of their family is at risk because of an injury, who is selected to represent the injured person and family is vital. The firm selected must be willing to fight and hate to lose. I have been fighting my whole life. Jon and I have structured a Firm that hates to lose.” Jon will remain actively involved as a consultant and strategist but will devote more time to the charity work in South Africa that he and his wife Amy care so much about.
We are excited to see what the future holds under Godshall’s leadership. We are confident that he will continue the tradition of excellence that has become synonymous with the work Jon started. We look forward to serving our clients with the same level of care and expertise that they have come to expect from us. Thank you for your continued trust and support.
