Project Backpack 2025

Project Backpack 2025

On Thursday, August 7th, 2025, we hosted our very first large-scale Project Backpack Drive, and it was a day to remember.

Held at the Musselman Learning Center in Norristown, the event was made possible with the help of the Norristown Area School District. We were able to distribute roughly 1,000 backpacks, each filled with essential school supplies to help students start the year strong. The remaining backpacks will also be donated to ensure even more children in our community are prepared for success.

The day was filled with more than just backpacks. It became a true community celebration. Zac’s Burgers food truck served up delicious meals, while Sweet Briar Cafe kept everyone fueled with treats. First Student joined us with bus safety activities, and our team hosted games and prizes for families to enjoy. We also had a live DJ bringing the energy all afternoon. A big shoutout to DJOBOYYY (Stephon Baker) for filling the air with awesome music that kept the crowd smiling and dancing.

Seeing the joy on the faces of children and parents as they picked out their backpacks was rewarding in itself. The smiles, laughter, and sense of connection reminded us exactly why we do what we do.

None of this would have been possible without our incredible volunteers who worked tirelessly to make the day run smoothly. Their dedication and energy turned this event into something truly special.

We are deeply grateful to serve our community in this way and we already look forward to making next year’s Project Backpack even bigger and better. Thank you to everyone who made this day unforgettable. You have helped set the stage for a bright school year for so many local students.
