Amanda Freedman is an experienced personal injury and medical malpractice attorney with over 10 years of experience advocating for her clients. Born and raised in Northeast Pennsylvania, Amanda developed an appreciation for the values of hard work and perseverance, which continue to guide her approach to the practice of law.
Before joining Ostroff Godshall, Amanda worked at a boutique Philadelphia law firm, where she litigated medical malpractice cases and tirelessly fought for the rights of injured clients. While attending law school, Amanda gained invaluable hands-on experience through an externship with the Pennsylvania Office of the Attorney General. She also worked at the Federal Defender’s Office, where she represented indigent clients facing a variety of criminal charges. After graduating, Amanda was awarded a judicial fellowship with the Honorable Daniel J. Anders of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, further honing her legal expertise and gaining insight into the inner workings of the court system.
Amanda is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, as well as in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the Middle District of Pennsylvania. She graduated with honors from Western Michigan University, where she concentrated her studies on litigation.
In addition to her legal career, Amanda has a strong sense of community and compassion for others. She volunteers her time with Media Fellowship House, where she actively supports individuals and families in need. This role allows her to connect with others and create meaningful change, reinforcing her belief in the importance of kindness and empathy both inside and outside the courtroom.
