The client was in the passenger’s seat of the friend’s car driving to a medical center to have testing done. As they were going down the highway the defendant came out of a side access road and t-boned the car. Due to the accident the client suffered injuries to the sternum which didn’t heal properly causing there to be a space in between the skin and bone, internal bleeding that needed surgery to fix, and a collapsed lung.
