Building Community and Brand: How OG Law is Redefining Personal Injury Representation

In a recent episode of the Partnerships for Profit podcast, host Will Brooks sat down with Rich Godshall, managing partner of Ostroff Godshall Injury and Accident Lawyers, soon to be known simply as OG Law. The conversation offered a candid look at Rich’s journey into personal injury law, his vision for the firm, and how authentic community connection is shaping their brand. You can watch/listen to the entire episode below:

Rich’s path to law was deeply personal. While he was in law school, his father—a union construction worker—suffered a devastating workplace injury. After being turned away by several firms, the family finally found representation that made a difference. That experience inspired Rich to fight for injured workers and families who are too often overlooked.

Starting as a defense lawyer, Rich gained invaluable insight into how big companies and insurers approach cases. But ultimately, he shifted to personal injury, partnering with John Ostroff before eventually acquiring the firm. Now, OG Law manages more than 700 active cases across Pennsylvania, with Rich still personally litigating the firm’s most significant matters.

Community engagement is central to that mission. From backpack drives for local schools to holiday food giveaways, OG Law is investing in grassroots initiatives that resonate with people on a personal level. Paired with creative TV spots and a strong digital presence, the firm is positioning itself as both a trusted advocate and a recognizable brand.

Authenticity and local connection remain at the heart of Rich’s philosophy: “The guy whose name is on the door is still the guy handling your case.” That message, combined with community investment and innovative branding is helping OG Law stand out in a crowded field.
